Bob Sanchez, BA, criminal justice, ‘89 recently was appointed as Northwest Nazarene University’s director of veteran’s services and multicultural affairs. As a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel, Sanchez will help with enrollment and retention for veterans and multicultural students.

Chelsea Barnes Price, BS, nursing, ’01, accepted a position in June 2014 as nurse manager for the NICU at St. Charles Health System in Bend, Oregon. Price previously worked as a registered nurse for 13 years.

Patrick Johnston BS, mechanical engineer, ’14, and Boise State student Dave Schenker, broke the land speed record for a vegetable-oil powered vehicle in 2011. Since then, they have co-founded Greenspeed Research, a nonprofit in Garden City.
